Obituary

Frances E. Baumann, 82, died August 29, 2002 at Newton Medical Center, Newton. she ws born January 22, 1920 at Macon, Georgia, daughter of Herman McDaniel Warr and Rosa Lee Green.

She belonged to the DAR; American Legion Auxiliary; the Friendship Club; and First United Church of Christ, Newton.

On July 18, 1941 she married John F. Baumann, Jr. at MacClenny, Florida. He died March 23, 1993. Survivors: three sons, David, Kim and Lee, all of Newton; brother, Herman Warr, Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Annie Mae Bartlett, Hemit, California; Margaret Haglund and Mattie Shepard, both of Jacksonville, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher and John; brother, James Warr; and sister, Elizabeth Betty Larrimore.

Funeral was Tuesday at the Church with the Rev. Bill Hickerson presiding. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
