Ann M. Moulds, 88 of Halstead, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Halstead Health and Rehab Center. She was born on July 30, 1922 in Newton, daughter of Arthur L. and Augusta Catherine Kaiser Phillips. She graduated from Newton High School in 1940. Ann married Thomas Clayton Moulds on April 25, 1942.

Ann and Tom moved to California in 1959. She was a receptionist for many years at the Ferrara and Moulds Colonial Mortuary in Orange, California, until retiring in June 1980. They returned to Kansas in the summer of 1992.

She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church in Halstead. Down through the years, she had also been a member of the Order of Eastern Star; the Loving Savior Lutheran Church in Chino Hills, California and the Orange North Rotary Club in Orange, California, where she had been honored as a "Paul Harris Fellow"

Survivors: brother-in-las, Dean Moulds of Wichita; sister-in-laws Kathryn Lamia of Kanopolis; Sadie Moulds, Murphysboro, Illinois and Barbara Moulds of Monta Vista, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Tom on August 2 1, 2009.

Funeral was Monday at the Broadway Coloniaal Funeral Home. Interment at the Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
