Leslie Jantz

Leslie Jantz, 90, Newton, formerly of Hutchinson and Branson, Missouri died July 3, 2000 at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He was born October 21, 1909 at Galva, son of Jacob Jacob Tobias and Minnie Unruh Janez. He was a retired farmer and Cessne Aircraft employee; and a member of First Missiionary Church, Newton.

He married Malinda E. Becke November 16, 1931 at Ulysses. She died April 2, 1994. He then married Ada Becker on September 7, 1996 at Newton. She survives.

Other survivors: brother, Harold Jantz, Branson, Missouri; five sisters, Waunita Decker, Newton; Violet Swartz, Wichita; Pansay Coppoock, Sacramento, California; Elsie Ford, Lawrence and Carlene Goering, Peabody. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Jantz and Wilbur Jantz.

Services will be July 6 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
