Gertrude Margaret Mooney, 91, Mountain home Arkansas, former resident of Burrton died March 12 at the Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home. She was born February 3, 1909 in Cimarron, Kansas, daughter of Eugene Camden and Bernice Morgan Deem Crow. She married Elvin Bryan Mooney March 30, 1933 at Cunningham, Kansas.

She was a retired medical secretary for the Hertzler Clinic, Halstead. She moved to Mountain Home in 1995, moving there from Cunningham.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Burrton. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and the Order of Eastern Star and a lifetime PTA member. She was a Sunday School teacher for over 60 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, her family and was an avid stamp collector.

Survivors: daughter, Bernice Joyce Bell, Mountain Home; three sons, Eugene Bryan Mooney, Valley Center; Boyd Elvin Mooney, Parkersburg, West Virginia and Carl Thomas Mooney, Burnsville, Minnesota; two brothers, Robert Crow, Murdock, Kansas and Richaard Crow, Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters, Eugenia Hellar, Wichita; Elsie Witt, Larned; Anna Dafforn, Cunningham and Donna Boen, Sweetwater, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbnd and three brothers and sisters.

Local visitation and services will be March 16 at the United Methodist Church, Burrton with burial in the Burrton Cemetery.
