Obituary

Doris W. Adams, 85, Newton, mother of Darrel Fisher, Halstead, died Saturday, July 28, 2001 at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.

She was born December 27, 1915 at Newton, daughter of Edger and Alice Sawyer Ham. She was a retired bookkeeper for Axtell Christian Hospital in Newton, where she had worked for 26 years. She belonged to the First Christian Church, Newton.

Other survivors: include several stepchildren; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several greaat-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Truman Risher; Albert Sump; Elmer Sump; and Roy Adams.

Graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery August 1 with Chaplain Christine Edwards presiding.
