Obituary

R. B. Lee "Buzz" Busby, 85, Burrton, died Sunday, July 1, 2001 at his residence. He was born Decembeer 7, 1915 at Wyandotte, Michigan, son of Elmer Thomas and Eva Solo Busby.

He was a nuclear power plant engineer for Detroit Edison Electric. He attended St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Wichita and attended Grace Community Churhc in Newton. He was also a member of the Gideons International.

On June 15, 1935 he married Beatrice Grahl at Wyandotte, Michigan. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2000.

Survivors: son, Douglas Lee Busby, Moscow, Indiana; two daughters, Sandrea Lee Grefke, Flat Rock, Michigan and Linda Lee Goering, Burrton; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Busby, Lester Busby and Leo Busby.

Services were held July 5 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
