Obituary

Donna Gail Bramlett, 39, Salina, former Halstead resident and daughter of Lois Bramlett, Halstead, died early Saturday morning, January 29, 2002 from injuries received in an automobile accident on I-135 in McPherson, Kansas.

She was born on November 22, 1962 at Pasadena, Texas, daughter of George Danaiel and Lois Willete Gass Bramlett. She was a health insurance specialist for the United States Department of Health and Human Services Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

She was a 1980 graduate of Halstead High School and a graduate of Pittsburg State University. She received her Masters in Nursing from the University of Maryland.

She was a member of the Catholic Church; Daughters of the American Revolutuionn; Daughters of the Confederacy and an oficer in the Police Emerald Society, Washington, D.C.

Other survivors: her fiance, Tim W. Cornelius, Salina and a sister, Linda Hughes, Humble, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Daniel Bramlett and one brother, George Danaiel Bramlett, Jr.

Memorial services were held January 23 at Kaufman Funeral Home. Services were conducted by the Rev. Dallas Curts. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
