Obituary

Ruth Elizabeth Dick, 90, a Halstead resident sisnce 1930 died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Newton Medical Center. She was born December 27, 1911 at Griswold, Iowa, daughter of Lewis and Bertha May Smith Kreitzberg. She was a retired RN at the Halstead Hospital and a homemaker.

She married Edwarad Dick on May 15, 1934 at Halstead. He died April 7, 2000. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Halstead and the Halstead Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.

Survivors: two sons, Dale, Halstead and Dick, Pratt; brother, Dean Kreitzberg, Pryor, Montana; sister, Grace Mickelson, Bellevue, Washington; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents and two brothers, Henry William Kreitzberg and Roy Edward Kreitzberg and a sister, Marie Fritsch.

Services wre held at the First Mennonite Church on August 30. Burial followed at Halstad Cemetery.
