Evelyn H (Unruh) Seiler

Evelyn H. Seiler, 82, longtime resident of Halstead, died October 30, 2002 at the Sedgwick Healthcare Center. She was born November 17, 1919 at Galva, daughter of Enoch and Nettie Base U nruh. She attended the Happy Hollow School in Galva. She married Robert Seiler on May 14, 1944 at Moundriddge. Mrs. Seiler worked for Halstead Hospital in Central Supply. She was an avid walker and enjoyed bird watching. She also embroidered and enjoyed reading and listening to music.

Survivors: husband of the home; daughters, Jeanette DesLauriers, Tucson, Arizona and Sheryl Swanson, Carmel, Indiana; brother, Kenneth Unruh, Canton; two sisters, Della Becker, Halstead, Vernie Becker, Moundridge and two grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Vivian Unruh; Otis Untuh; Glenn Unruh; Dennis Unruh and Lynn Unruh; and three sisters, Irene Unruh; Sophia Becker and Mabel Unruh.

Graveside services were held at Halstead Cemetery.
