Obituary

Susie Unruh, 96, Hesston, formerly of the Burrton area, died Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born November 10. 1906 at Goltry, Oklahoma, daughter of Jake B. and Netti Voth Becker.

On August 4, 1926 she married August Unruh at Burrton. He preceded her in death April 18, 1999. She was a homemaker.

Survivors: two daughters, Margie Wells, Chanute and Janette Taylor, Wichita; two brothers, Johnny Becker, Minneapolis and Alvin Becker, San Diego, California; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Amel Becker; Dave Becker; Pete Becker; Albert Becker and Jake Becker and three sisters, Lena Smith, Mary Koehn and Amelia Koehn.

Services were held July 16 at Kaufman Funeral Home. Burial was in Burrton, Kansas Cemetery.
