Earl Frederick

Funeral Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Burrton Methodist Church for Earl Frederick, 66, who was found dead of a heart attack at his home last Thursday morning. He was born April 16, 1885 at Hudson, Indiana and passed away on August 29, 1951 at his home in Burrton at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 13 days.

When he was 18 months old, his parents left Indiana to come to Kansas and settled on the old Frederick homestead north of Burrton. He grew to manhood there and was engaged in farming in that community throughout his lifetime.

On June 7, 1911, he was united in marriage with Lillian Howard and three children were born to them. They had moved into Burrton in December or 1944, and Mrs. Frederick preceded him in Death in November of 1948.

He was a member of the Burrton Methodist church, having joined this church with his wife in 1917.

He leaves his three children, Mrs. Ida Irene Cross of Athens, Georgia; Hobart of Wellington and Francis of Bushton; two brothers, Harry of Burrton and Forrest of Hutchinson; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Jones of Burrton and Mrs. Nettie Paden, Canton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren.
