Clyde David Comes

Clyde David Comes was born in McDonough Co., near Macomb, Illinois in 1875 and passed away at his home in Burrton on August 11, 1934. He came to Burrton March 7, 1876. He was united in marriage to Grace Everett in 1900. To this union two children were born, Josephine and Jack, both of Burrton.

Mr. Comes had been one of the prominent business men of Burrton since 1900. Having been associated with his brother, Joe Comes, for several years, later being connected with various business firms and at the time of his death, he operated a grocery and market.
