Clark H Shive

Clark H. Shive, 71, died Monday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, after a long illness. He was born September 9, 1896, at Galesburg. He married Avis Burton on March 6, 1915 at Carthage, Missouri. A resident of Burrton for 25 years, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Burrton Christian Church.

Survivors include the widow; sons, Ernest, Burrton; Malcomb, Newton; Keith, Halstead; daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Justice, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mrs. Nadine Ingold, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mrs. Georgana Macklan, Fullerton, California; sister, Mrs. Joe Mitchell, Coffeyfville; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted June 7 at the Burrton Methodist Church. Burial was in the Hunt-Shive Cemetery, rural Burrton.
