Obituary

Richard Roy Hawkins, 50, Fort Worth, Texas, died Saturday, November 21, 1970 at his home following a heart attack. He is a former resident of Burrton.

He was born December 23, 1919 in Burrton and married Virginia M. Hoskinson, November 10, 1940 in Coats. He was a photogeometrical engineer with the U. S. Corps of Engineers and had lived in Fort Worth for 25 years.

Survivors include the widow; sons, Michael, Topeka; Jerome D., Hutchinson; Danny of the home; daughter, Carol Lee of the home; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Yardley and Mrs. Joyce Micksell, Los Angeles, California; brothers, John, Englewood; Jerry, Wichita and three grandchildren.

Graveside services were condducted Wednesday at the Burrton Cemetery.
