Theodore Edwin Jones, Sr

Ted E. Jones, 68, farmer, died Friday evening, April 24, 1970 at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson following a three week illness.

He was born Februaary 22, 1907 in Burrton and was a lifetime resident. He married Martha Armstrong May 22, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Burrton.

Survivors are the widow; son, Ted, Jr. of the home; daughters, Mrs. Phillip Woods, Overland Park; Jeanneen Jones, Wichita; and Mrs. Daniel Tontz, San Antonio; brother, Lloyd, Hutchinson; sisters, Edith Hones, Burrton; Mrs. Lillian McKee, Wichita; Mrs. Neal Williams, Narrows, Virginia; 2 grandchildren.

Services were conducted from the Church on April 28 with burial in the Burrton Cemetery.
