Grace M (Hyde) Roberts

Mrs. Grace M. Roberts, 89, formerly of Burrton, died Sunday at Whittier, California, after a long illness. She was born November 19, 1880 at Burrton and was married to Thomas C. Roberts on November 24, 1897 at Burrton. He died in 1924. She wss a resident of Burrton until 1939 when she moved to California. She was member of the Church of God.

Survivors: sons, Ernest, Stillwell, Oklahoma; Ray and Claude, Hutchinson; Tom, Neosho, Missouri; James, Columbus, Nebraska; Fred, Burlington, Washington; Donald, Whittier, California; daughters; Mrs. Mary Neuway, Burrton; Mrs. Stella Cookson, Independence, California; Mrs. Lola Cunningham, McAllen, Texas; Mrs. Elsie Horner, Pico River, California; step-daughter, Mrs. Nancy Hawk, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Mrs. Pansie McKenry, Garden Grove, California; 42 grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.

Services were held June 11 at the Church with burial in the Burrton Cemetery.
