Helena M (Kliever) Hitch

Helena Hitch, 68, died Monday morning, October 16, 1972 at Axtell Christian Hospital in Newton after a long illness. She was born in Hillsboro on June 8, 1904 and moved to Burrton from Canton 32 years ago. She was married to L. M. Hitch on January 10, 1969. She was a memberof the Burrton United Methodist Church.

Survivors: include the widower; sons; Marvin, Chester, LaVerne and Virgil Stubby, Burrton; daughters, Mrs. Darlene Floyd, Wichita; Mrs. Joan McElwain, Lyons; brother, Henry Kliever, Roxbury; sister, Mrs. Marie Zitterkopf, Kingman; 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services were held October 18 a the church with burial in the Burrton Cemetery.
