Obituary

Vera Fay Laing, 76, died Thursday, December 12 at Evergreen Manor in Hutchinson. She was born August 26, 1898 at Brainerd and married Sterling Laing on July22, 1922 at Independence. She had lived here since 1935. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the OAO Club.

One son, dean, preceded her in death in 1945.

Survivors are the widower; sister, Mrs. Una Mae Brunner, Sedan; niece, Mrs. Vicki Knockstedt, Corpus Christi, Texas; nephew, Steve Brunner, Wichita.

Memorial services were h eld December 14 at Burrton United Methodist Church. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
