Vernon D Krehbiel

Vernon D. Krehbiel, 75, died Tuesday, January 13, 1976 at Halstead Hospital. He was born September 17, 1900 at Halstead and married Leona A. Wilson on December 13, 1923 in Wichita.

Mr. Krehbiel was a retired Standard bulk dealer and had lived in Burrton most of his life. He was a member of Burrton United Methodist Church and a former mayor of Burrton, Kansas.

Survivors: widow of the home; son, Robert Truman, Alvin, Texas; sisters, Mrs. Clara Long, Burrton; Mrs. Stella Giggy, Newton; one grandchild; one great grandchild.

Services were held at the Church Friday, January 16 with Rev. Roy Nelson preiding. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
