Flora Harriet Dillman

Flora H. Dillman, 94, Halstead, died Monday, May 10, 2004 at Newton, Kansas. She had been an area resident for 75 years. She was born August 27, 1909 at Smith County, Kansas, daughter of Jepson M. and Elizabeteh M. Bates Hawkins. She was a homemaker. She married Loy Dillman June 21, 1937 at Hutchinson, Kansas. He died February 18, 1994.

She was a member of Ruth-Wilson American Legion Auxiliary, Post 231, Halstead.

Survivors: son, Daryl Max Dillman, Hamilton, Ohio; daughter, Judith A. Palmer, Newton and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy Kay Franz; grandson, Terry Palmer; three brothers, Milo Hawkins, Eldon Hawkins, and Ormel Hawkins and four sisters, Erma Ferguson, Velma Mosley, Verda Lloyd and Dorothea Moore.

Graveside services were held May 13 at the Halstead Cemetery.
