Brian Clay Warford, 45, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his home in Halstead. He was born October 3, 1966 in Beloit to Ronald and Edweena Keller Warford. He married Kathy L. Frock on March 2, 1998 in Las Vegas. They were married for 13 years. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2011.

He was a graduate of K.U. Medical School where he studied to become a radiation technician. He had been a radiation tech at Halstead Hospital. Upon their closing, he continued as a technician and was taking clssses at Hutchinson Community College.

He was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed sports, especially Oklahoma football and Kansas City Chefs football. His family remembers him as "Papa Brian". He was especially proud of his 13 grandchildren and loved them very much.

He was a great cook and prankster but was also seen in a sweet and kind-hearted man. He wrote poetry and loved to read. He also loved to sing and enjoyed all types of music. He was very active in church, serving as an elder and singing in the church choir.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Edweena Warford, Hutchinson; children; son, Joshua Homewood; daughters, Brianna Kraus; Miranda Homewood; and Amanda Hahn, all of Halstead and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 31 at Zion Lutheran Church at Newton. A private committal will be held at Halstead cemetery at a later date.
