Stanley Ray Arrowsmith, 91, Scottsdale, Arizona, former resident of the Bentley area and brother of Hazel Milne, Halstead, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at Scottsdale, Arizona.

He was born July 24, 1913 in Halstead, son of Ray Stanley and Hazel Phoebe Fry Arrowsmith. He attended one-room country schools, Biggs and Bell, between Bentley and Halstead and graduated from Sedgwick High School.

He was a tool designer for Northrup Grumman and a member of Central Methodist Church and the Tired Iron of the Ozarks, both in Rogers, Arkansas. He was a resident of Scottsdale, moving there a year ago from Rogers, Arkansas.

On November 29, 1974 he married Dorothy McMichael at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. She survives of the home. Other survivors: son, Stephen Arrowsmith, Branson, Missosuri; daughter, Diane Carter, Hartford, Conn.; step-son, Archie Rambeeau, Scottsdale; another sister, Helen Tinkham, Glendale, Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Max Arrowsmith, Donovan Arrowsmith and Richard Arrowsmith; sister, Elizabeth Learned.

Services were eld February 19 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
