Lloyd L Hall

Lloyd L. Hall, 77, Halstead, died July 6, 2005 at Halstead Place Assisted Living. He was born November 13, 1927 at Hamilton, son of Jesse H. and Mattie VanNess Hall. He married Irene L. Steffen Novemer 18, 1947 at Kinsley. She preceded him in death June 28, 2002.

He was the owner/operator of Fashionn Cleaners in Halstead. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead; the Ruth-Wilson American Legion Post 231, Halstead and the Halstead-Burrton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1824. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the World War II Pacific Theater.

Survivors: son, Gregory Hall and wife, Nancy, St. Helena Island, South Carolina; granddaughters, Amy and Dana Hall, Starksville, Mississippi; sisters, Margie Roark, Las Vegas, Nevada; Jacqueline Foster, Wichita; Linda Darnell, Woodbridge, Virginia; Marian Hall, McPherson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held Wednesday, July 13 at the Halstead Cemetery with Father Thomas Wai officiating. Burial was at the Halstead Cemetery.
