Eston S. "Bud" Larsen, 87, of Hutchinson, former Burrton resident died September 15, 2005 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born July 17, 1918 in Marion County, son of Alfred Louis and Carrie C. Robertson Larsen. They preceded him in death.

He graduated from Peabody High School in 1938 and was a farmer and stockman. He was a longtime Burrton resident, moving to Hutchinson in 1994. He married Betty Mae Stryker August 8, 1941 in Newton. She survives.

He served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and was a fireman at the former Hutchinson Naval Air Station.

Other survivors: daughters, Beverly Fast (George), Hutchinson; Patty (John) Scott, Lenexa and Diane (Ron) Caffrey, Hutchinson; brother, Wayne Larsen, Mulvane; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

He was alsoo preceded in death by a son, Jerry; brother, Linford Larsen and sister, Bernyce Lambert.

Services were held September 19 at Grace Bible Church, Hutchinson. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
