James Brian Hege

James Brian Hege, 17, son of Paul P. and Audree Guber Hege, 1570 Womer Drive, Wichita, was born August 22, 1945 at Wichita, Kansas. He was a senior at North High School. Hege was a member of the school's Spanish Club and golf team. He had been active in Scout work and was a member of Central Christian Church.

He died in the crash of a rented airplane on Saturday afternoon eight miles NE of Wichita. He was the only licensed pilor aboard when it crashed between Woodland and Rock Road. All three youth aboard died.

In addition to the parents, are two sisters, Mrs. Norma L. Metzker, Wichita and Barbara K. Hege, a student at Kansas State University, Manhattan.

Burial was in the Halstead Mausoleum, Halstead, Kansas.
