Obituary

Barbara A. Furlong, 63, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Halstead, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at Odyssey Healthcare in Las Vegas. She was born January 28, 1942 to Leo and Viiola Neratka Madajewdki in Ashley, Pennsylvania.

She married Edward Furlong on September 9, 1961 at Carteret, New Jersey. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Edward A. Furlong.

She if survived by daughters Kelly Unruh, Halstead; Deanna Gilana, Wichita and Michele Streeter, Salina; brother, Leo Madajewski of Las Vegas; sister, Elizabeth Bruccato of Cateret, New Jersey; 5 grandchildren 1 great grandchild.

Memorial service was held May 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead.
