Obituary

Allen Ardell Wiggers, 86, died October 14, 2006 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation in Halstead. He was a farmer, dairyman and seed dealer and Halstead area resident more than 70 years.

He was born October 6, 1920 at Canton to Henry H. and Rachel Jantz Wiggers. He married Lucille Marie Koehn on March 22, 2942 at Montezuma, Kansas. He was a member of Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church, Halstead.

Survivors: wife of the home; sons, Kayle (Jane), Comstock, Wisconsin; Maynard (Juanita), Houston, Mississippi; Stanley (Marlene), Halstead; Lowell, Halstead; Elwin, Salina and Timothy Bonnie), Halstead; daughters, Charlene (Russell), Friesen,Halstead and Raeletta (Marlin), Halstead; brother, Glenn Wiggers, Halstead; sisters, Pricilla Seiler, Moundridge; Elma Jean Yost, Detroit, Texas and Clarabelle Dirks of Hesston; 28 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Krehbiel; grandson, Brendan Wiggers; brother, Arnold Wiggers; sisters, Bertha Buller; Marjorie Smith and Gertrude Wedel and daughter-in-law, Pam Wiggers.

Funeral services were held October 17 at the church with burial in Halstead Cemetery.
