Ben L. Berry

Ben L. Berry, 85, died Friday April 27, 2007 at Presbyterian Manor, Newton. He was born April 15, 1922 to Sam and Haddie Byers Berry in rural Sedgwick. Both are deceased.

He graduated from Sedgwick High School in 1941. He farmed in the rural Sedgwick area for over 50 years. He was a hard worker and "good feller". He took care of his mother for many years. He was a fun loving individual.

He is survived by a brother, Grover Berry and a sister, Mildred Riggs, both of Newton, and a nephew, Ronald Berry of Wichita.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Blaine Berry.

Services were held at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. Burial w ill be at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
