Darwin D Heun

Darwin D. Heun, 63, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita. A Halstead resident, he was born November 26, 1943 at Lake View, Iowa to parents Donald D. and Arlene V. Janssen Heun, both of whom are deceased.

He married Marie C. Arndt on August 27, 1966 at Lytton, Iowa. She survives.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Halstead.

He is survived by wife, Marie Heun; son, Scott Heun; Halstead; daughter, Sharon Will, Pratt; Kristie Thackery, Wichita; brothers, Edward Heun, Freemont, Nebraska; Marlin Heun, Weatherford, Texas; Arlin Heun, San Antonio, Texas; Kevin Heun, Weatherford, Texas; sisters, MaDonna Heun, Odessa, Texas; Glenda Pokorny, Howells, Texas; Joan Hendrixs, Odessa, Texas and 7 grandchildren.

Services were held November 24 at the Church. Burial was in the Hastead Cemetery.
