Obituary

Ada Lorraiine Homewood, 76, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her residence in Halstead. She was born November 6, 1930, daughter of John Bryan and Dorothy Alvina Gier Serier.

She married Alvin Golenn Homewood May 22, 1949 at Lucas. She was the owner-operator of Homewood Cleaning Service and a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Halstead. She is preceded in death by brothers, Galeland, Gary and Gary, Sr.

She is survived by sons: Robert, Jones, Michigan; Tom, Sedgwick; Dan, Sedgwick; daughters, Terri McCall, Devenport, Oklahoma; Nancy Franzen, Goessel; Debbie Portlock, Halstead; brother, Gene Serier, Lucas; sisters, LaVonne Rupert, Salina and Judy Kirby, Orlando, Florida; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.


Services were held March 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Halstead with burial at the Halstead Cemetery.
