Edward O. Treesh

Edward O. Treesh, 85, Halstead, died Friday, December 21, 2007 in Halstead. He was born April 25, 1922 in Warsqw, Indiana to his parents, Floyd Wesley and Iona Faye Phillips Treesh, both deceased.

A psychologist at Hertzler Clinic, he was married to Lorna D. Gore on September 10, 1953 at Larned. She preceded him in death. He was a memeber of the WW II Veteran U.S. Army Air Corp; First Unitarian Church, Wichita; former Volunteer of Halstead Go-Getters 4-H; former Halstead PTA; former president and treasurer of Hertzler Research Foundation and former community representative of USD 440.

He is survived by his daughters, Erica Treesh and husband, Lowell Handy, Des Plains, Illinois; Alicia Roher and husband, David of Reeds Springs, Missouri; sister, Mary Hill and husband, Austin, Hemphill, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley Carlile and husband Joseph, Ozark, Missouri; grandson, Jeremy Rohrer of Reeds Spring, Missouri; great-grandson, Bobbee Carlile, Ozark, Missouri; 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Treesh.

Services at Kaufman Funeral. The body was cremated.
