Obituary

Joy Annette Basye, 49, former owner and operator of the Bentley Corner Store and Roadkill Cafe, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Basye; sons, Wade Curry, Sedgwick; Dion Curry, Sedgwick; son Travis & Wendy Basye, Newton; 2 grandsons; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin & Lucy Lyon of Sterling; sister, Phyllis Newberry, Garden City; stepfather, Fred Norton of Garden City.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lester Lyon; mother, Roberta Norton and brother, Robert Lyon.

Services were Saturdy January 19 at Maize Congregational Church with Pastor Richard E. Neu officiating.

Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Memorials to Hynes Memorial Hospice.
