Rebecca Buchta

A driver was critically hurt in a crash in Harvey County. The crash happened about one o'clock Thursday afternoon (July 12, 2012) at Highway 50 and Dutch Avenue, northeast of Newton. Emergency dispatchers say a car and a semi collided. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the driver of the car crossed the center line. Twenty-five year old Rebecca Buchta of North Newton was flown to a Wichita hospital in critical condition. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
