Christine (Scott) Hoffman

Christine Hoffman, 81, homemaker, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at Newton Medical Center. She was born December 6, 1926 at Honeywell, Oklahoma to Merle and Ruby Calloway Scott. Both are deceased. On May 26, 1951 she married William L. "Red" Hoffman at Halsteaad who died November 4, 1995.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Burrton and was a member of Moose Lodge 982, Hutchinson. She was loved and will remembered by many.

Surviovors: daughter, Glenda Brandewnberger and husband, Steve, Halstead; granddaughter, Lisa Swanner, Hesston; great granddaughter, Courtner Swanner and two grreat grandsons, Alec and Darien Chapin, all of Hesston. She was preceded by a sister, Darlene Hoffman.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 1 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Rev. Jennifer Whitt officiating. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
