Obituary

Grandma Elizabeth Charlotte Brandenberger was born in Eichstotten, Baden, Germany on October 10, 1825.  She passed away May 11, 1912 at the home of her youngest son in Halstead.  She was married 63 years ago to Frederick Brandenberger who preceded her by 16 years.

They came to  America in 1874 stopping in New York until 1877, when they moved to Kansas.  She leaves 4 children, Mrs. Jno. Brandenhoop of Halstead, William A. and Gustave of Halstead and Mrs. Jno. Hansen of Sedgwick county.  Also twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home of Gustave Brandenberger and later in the German M. E. Church.
