Peggy Allen, 74, died at her home on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She was born December 5, 1937 to Arthur and Florence Trimmel Davison in Wichita. She married Jack E. Allen February 4, 1958 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death.
Peggy was a homemaker and an active den mother for the Legion Riders Post No. 2. She is survived by her two sons, Jon Allen and spouse Robbin and Tony Allen, both of Newton; daughter, Kathleen Unruh and spouse, Kenneth of Halstead; two brothers, Budde Davison and spouse Mary of Haysville and Robert Davison of Ark City; three sisters, Judy Branine of Wichita; Shirley Hunter, Guthrie, Oklahoma and Sandra Davison of Ark City. Also three grandchildren, Deric Allen and Kyle Allen, both of Newton and Terra Unruh of Little Elm, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence Davison; husband, Jack Allen; sister, Maxine Davison and brother, Gerald Trimmell.
Graveside service was held Friday, September 28, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery of Newton. Memorial to the Humane Society of Newton.
