Mary E Lehmann

Mary E. Lehmann ws born in Ashland County, Ohio May 19, 1853.  She died Decemer 22, 1909 and was buried in Halstead Cemetery.  She was the youngest of twelve children, nine of whom were born in Germany.  The family came to America in 1845 and settled near Savannah, Ohio.  She was educated at the Savannah Academy and later at the Western, Oxford, Ohio.  She came to  Halstead in 1882.  She was a charter member at the organization of the Presbyterian Church iin Halstead.  They reconized that whether Mennonite or Presbyterian or whatsoever branch of the church wwe are "btethern in X"  Six nephews bore her to the tomb at the Halstead Cemetery.
