Ronald A. Steinert, 48, died Thursday January 10, 2013 at Newton Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1964 at Garden City to Donald W. and M. Louise Gower Steinert. He was a graduate of Halstead High School and was a welder for Martin Machiine and Welding.
Survivors: companion, Wanda Stratton, Halstead; parents; Don and Louise Steinert, Halstead; brothers, Donald H. (Kathleen) Steinert, Halstead;; Darren (Jennifer) Steinert, Newton; sisters, Rhonda (Don) Christy, Halstead; Debra Steinert, Wichita; Susan (Leroy) Whitmer, Halstead. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jodi Weidenbach June 16, 2003.
Memorial service will be January 18 at Kaufman Funerall Home, Halstead with Rev. Steve Friesen officiating. Memorials to American Heart Association.
