Quentin Lincoln Base

   Quentin Lincoln Base, 94, retired farmer, passed away on  Tuesday, April 1. 2012.  He was born in rural Burrton to Tobias Adam Base and Selma Leah Schmidt Base.

   He is survived by his son, Gary (Sharon) of Sedgwick and daughter, Patty (Stan) Grrecian of Palco; grandchildren, Doug Base; Dan Base; Stacey Rissner; Amy Reid and Kelly Helms; 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian E.; his parents; sisters, Violet Eshelman and Letha Zaring.

   Services were held MondayApril 16 at the First United Methodist Church in Valley Center.  Burial followed at Hillsiide Cemetery, Sedgwick.
