Bess E. Mullet, 89, passed away on April 17, 2013 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born May 21, 1923 in Glendive, Montana,, daughter of Ernest T. and Edith Cole Johnson. She was a homemaker.
On March 20. 1943 she married Roy Mullet in Bloomfield, Montana. He passed away on January 14, 2011. Bess was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church. She was a longtime volunteer at the Et Cetra Shop and the former Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton. Bess was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan.
Survivors: sons; David (Jan) of Bloomfield, Montana; Bob (Janie) of Hesston; Paul (Teresea) of Hesston; Steve (Phyllis) Bloomfield, Montana; Mick (Linda) of Bloomfield, Montana; sisters, Jereri (Jim) Olson of Fargo, N. D.; Pat (Floyd) Henrickson of Wadena, Minn; Jackie (Russ) Schimpp of Staples, Minn.; half-sister, Maureen O'Shay of Elk Grove, California; Ernestine Siegle of Glendive, Montana; half-brother, Greg Johnson of Minnespolis, Minn; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; brother, Paul Johnson and sisters, Barbara Nissley and Beverly Buck.
Private burial will be in the Hesston City Cemetery. Memorial services will be Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. at the Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.
