Lois Chambers, 82, went to be with her Lord June 10, 2013 with her family by her side. She was
born November 30. 1930 in Navarre to Harry and Irent Stott Larsen at
their home. Lois was proud to have the Dane ancestry.
Lois was a proud wife and homemaker. She was active in her children's activities and attended
their many sporting events and assisted scouts.
Lois was raised a Dunkard Brethren in Dickinson County with her
great-grandfather, the Rev. John Humbargar. She stayed active in the
Church of the Brethren church through her lifetime, helping with
numerous church activities and Bible School.
Survivors: husband, Robert L. Chambers, of 66 years, Newton; four
children; son, Steve and Vicki Chambers, Elk City, Okla; daughter,
Vickie and Leroy Dyck, Newton; son, Tim and Connie Chambers,
Hutchinson and daughter, Chris Lehr, Wichita; 10 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held. Memorials to American Cancer Society
or Harry Hynes Hospice.
