Lenora Jean "Jeannie" Moore, 71, went to be with her Lord Monday, May 27. 2013 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1941 in Newton, the daughter of Frederick Amos and Martha Lucille Zarnowski Shultz. Jeannie graduated from Mount Carmel in 1959. On June 10, 1967 she married her sweetheart, Jay Leon Moore in Newton. They were active members of St. Teresea's and then Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was a former president of the St. Teresea's Altar Society and was involved in the Reno County Genealogical Society.
She is survived by her Husband, Jay Leon Moore, Hutchinson; two sons, Sean Moore and wife Michele of Carbondale and Mark Moore of Hutchinson; 7 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Miller; and two brothers, Vernon and Jim Shultz.
Rosary will be May 31 at Elliott Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 1 at Church of the Holy Cross. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Newton.
