W. S. Dodd

   W. S. Dodd, son of Mr. & Mrs Joseph Dodd, died at Ashland, Kansas at the age of 55.  He was born in Iowa.  He married Letitia Cunningham in 1884.

   Survivors: Mrs. Buena Carroll; Mrs. Hazel Homes; Fern, Karll and Tom.  The body arrived on the Santa Fe. 

   Funeral was held at the family home in Burrton where his favorite hymn, "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder," was sung.  Cause of death was an affection of the heart.

   Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
