   Ada Mae  Jones was born at Lebanon, Indiana July 24, 1878 and departed this life at Hutchinson, Kansas on June 11, 1913.  At the age of 3 months, her parents moved to Dodge City, Kansas shere she spend her early childhood.  In 1890 the family came to Burrton and it was here that she grew into womanhood.  She graduated from Burrton High School in 1897.  She was married to Claude E. Hall, November 8, 1903 and established their home in Nickerson, Kansas where she has resided since.

   She had been a sufferer for more than a year and recently grew worse and was removed to the hospital early iin the week.  An operation was performed on Tuesday from which the patient rallied and hopes for her recovery were entertained.  She soon grew worse however and the end came as above stated on Wednesday night.

   She is survived by a husband, four children; Gladys; Genevieve; Norman Claude and Lela Mae; a mother, four sisters and three brothers.

   At the age of seventeen, she became a Christian and joined the Methodist Church at Burrton, afterwards moving her membership to the Congretational church in Nickerson.  She was an earnest conscientious worker both in the church and Sunday school.

   Rev. W. L. Martin, her pastor, assisted by the choir of the Nickerson Congregational Church, conducted the funeral services at the home of her sister in Burrton.  A large delegation of friends from Nickerson were in attendance.
