Mary L. Olmstead

   Mary L Olmstead, 84, died Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Asbury Park in Newton.  She ws born November 25, 1928 in Taylor  Township, Minnesota to  Charles and Olive Wentworth Olmstead.  She was a homemaker and babysitter.

   Growing up in Minnesota, she enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outddoors.  Her family was very important to her and she greatly enjoyed spending time with them.  She recently joined the Red Hat Society and enjoyed the companionship of her new friends.

   Mary is survived by her sister, Marjorie and her husband, James Laswell of Newton.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Dorothy and Lois and brothers Charles and Jack.

   Graveside commital service will be Monday, August 26, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery.
