   Lizzie Hansen was called home on Thursday, a resident of Lake Township for 35 years.  Members of the Eastern Star served as pall bearers and were in the choir.  She had arranged a song service and inccordance with her wishes "Jesus Lover of My Soul,  In the Sweet Bye and Bye, Shall We gather at the River, and Shall we meet beyond the River" were songs rendered.  Born Lizzie James, in November of 1847, she married William David in 1871.  Their daughter died in infancy.  They left Cardiff in 1874 and came to McHenry Co.IIllinois with her father, William James.  Three weeks after their landing here, her husband died.  In 1877 she married M. C. Hansen and moved to Harvey County in 1878.  She belonged to the Centennial Methodist church.  She served the sick and taught Sabbath school.  She was a Worthy matron of the Eastern Star.  Card of thanks were from the Hansen family; M.C. Hansen; Mr. & Mrs. George R. Hess and Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gibson.
