Betty M. Andrews
WICHITA -- Betty M. Andrews, 90, former
nurse's aide, died Friday (May 8, 1998) in Wichita.
She was born June 17, 1907, in Goessel
to Abraham Bestvater and Helena (Franz) Bestvater. She married Herman
Andrews in Newton. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Survivors include: two brothers, John
Bestvater and Henry Bestvater, both of Newton; five sisters, Mary
Spencer of Wichita, Christine Peters, Grace Kasitz and Unilda
Moffatt, all of Newton and Mildred Riekenberg of Sylvan Grove; four
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by one son, Kenneth Andrews; one brother, Frank Bestvater; and one
sister, Martha Promenschenkel.
Funeral services were today at Hillside
Funeral Home East in Wichita. Burial was at the Highland Township
Cemetery in rural Hesston.
