Edgar Ray Beebe

MOUNDRIDGE -- Edgar Ray Beebe, 59, who retired from Bradbury Corporation in shipping and receiving, died Wednesday (May 13, 1998) at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.

He was born July 2, 1938, in Newton to Delbert Beebe and Margaret (Hous) Beebe. He married Mary J. Stucky Feb. 25, 1967, in Newton. She survives of Moundridge.

He moved from Topeka to Moundridge and was a resident for 17 years. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Other survivors include: one son, Shane Beebe of Moundridge; three brothers, Kenneth Beebe of Newton, Charles Beebe of Peabody and Richard Beebe of Washington; and two sisters, Flora Mae Thomas of Lakewood, Colo., and Etta Hayes of Ford.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hopefield Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with Pastors Ben Friesen and Dwight Goering officiating. Burial will be in the Hopefield Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harder-Kaufman Funeral Home in Moundridge.

Memorials have been established with Edgar R. Beebe Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
