Mary Klein Kwapis
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. -- Mary Klein
Kwapis, 77, formerly of Newton, died Sunday (July 26, 1998).
She was born April 11, 1921, in Newton
to Samuel and Luise Klein. She married Lawrence Kwapis of Gaylord,
Mich., in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She was a member of St. Matthias
Catholic Church in Utica, Mich.
Survivors include: one daughter, Diane
Ulfig of Clinton Township, Mich.; two sons, Robert Kwapis and Ronald
Kwapis, of Sterling Heights, Mich.; two sisters, Linda Kasitz of
Newton and Hilda Klein of El Dorado; and three grandchildren. She
also was preceded in death by five brothers, August Klein, Karl
Klein, Walter Klein, Johnny Klein and William Klein; and two sisters,
Ella Paula Klein and Louise Holden.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at
St. Matthias Catholic Church in Utica, Mich.
