Rodger R. Hayes
WICHITA -- Rodger R. Hayes, 51, former
machinist at Hesston Hay and Forage Co., for more than 20 years and
recent employee at Cessna, died Friday (Aug. 28, 1998).
He was born Nov. 24, 1946, in Newton to
Archie Henry and Velma Doris (Ringland) Hayes. His mother survives of
Wichita. He married Elaine Stika on Oct. 7, 1983. They divorced in
1996. She survives.
He was raised in the Newton and
Whitewater areas and was a graduate of Remington High School. He was
an avid reader and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and golfing.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Jennifer Hayes of Wyoming, Mich.; one sister, Dorothy Lane of
Wichita; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Broadway Mortuary Chapel in Wichita.
